**The Essentials Courses are a bare-bones crash course that present everything you need to know in order to move forward on the topic. They are geared toward new to novice players, but all levels are welcome** Wondering how you’ll ever play fast enough to keep up in a jam session or with more experienced players? This class will give you all kinds of practice strategies to play faster without sacrificing tone or accuracy. Focusing on just a couple of simple tunes tunes and chords, we’ll work with a metronome to get up to about 120 beats per minute (standard "dance" tempo). Learn to work out the tricky measures, simplify notey passages, smooth out fingerings, and strum faster, so you can play along no matter the speed!
