**Masterclass courses are not necessarily for advanced students, but carry an expectation of a final performance or demonstration of skills learned. They have a little more homework and a lot of in-class interaction. All levels are welcome** Learn the basics of reading standard notation in treble clef, and converting those music notes to mountain dulcimer tablature in DAd tuning. You'll learn to identify intervals using a method based in solfège and shape-note singing. With this method, you can learn to easily transpose ANY song to the key of D, no matter what key the notation is written in. No previous experience reading music is necessary. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to play songs for which notation is available, but not mountain dulcimer tablature. You’ll be writing your own in no time!
