**The Essentials Courses are a bare-bones crash course that present everything you need to know in order to move forward on the topic. They are geared toward new to novice players, but all levels are welcome** Dive into an in-depth look at a variety of picking-hand techniques including strumming, flat-picking, and fingerpicking. We’ll talk about different picks, how to hold them, different strategies for strumming versus picking individual strings, and how to use fingers instead of a pick too. You’ll learn about the musical concepts of rhythm, tone, and dynamics, all of which are controlled by the hand that plucks the strings.
