**Masterclass courses are not necessarily for advanced students, but carry an expectation of a final performance or demonstration of skills learned. They have a little more homework and a lot of in-class interaction. All levels are welcome** This course is all about making your friends sound great! A good accompanist supports the lead singer or player by providing solid rhythm, consistent chords, and helpful leading phrases. We can do all of that with the mountain dulcimer! Get lots of tools and exercises to help you put together a strong accompaniment for any genre or playing level. Learn common chord progressions, a variety of accompaniment rhythms, and how to play in several keys to accommodate any vocal range. Plus, learn to play Erin Mae’s signature percussive “chop and groove” rhythm style too. DAd tuning; capo required.
